Marietta Art in the Park, an Atlanta Labor Day weekend tradition is celebrating its 38th year! Our incredible three-day juried Fine Art Festival takes place on the historic Marietta Square in Glover Park and attracts over 50,000 guests. This professionally managed event is ranked #13 by Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2022 in the 100 Best Fine Art & Design Shows and was named one of the Best Shows in America for 2010-2020. It is consistently awarded a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society and is the only fine art festival held in Cobb County.

What to expect?

Known best for its fine art offerings, Marietta Art in the Park gives individuals and families the chance to have all kinds of outdoor fun during Labor Day weekend. The festival began 38 years ago and has become one of the premier fine art shows in Atlanta, and the only one in Cobb County. This fine art extravaganza features the Artist Market, representing the best in fine handcrafted works by 220 artists from all over the country. Art displayed during the festival includes paintings, photography, pottery, graphic arts, sculptures, jewelry, woodworking and much more. The Artist Market gives visitors the chance to purchase art but also to talk with the artists who make it. Some artists also offer demonstrations during the festival for a real behind-the-scenes look. Kids of all ages love the ever-popular Children’s Art Alley with several free make and take crafts and the Chalk Spot where kids and adults of all ages use their imagination to create chalk masterpieces. The festival supports both Marietta City Schools and Cobb County Schools through fund raising efforts during the festival. Join us August 31 - September 2 on the Marietta Square, as we look forward to seeing you again!
